All drivers must be over 21 and under 76

UK licence holders may be accepted up to age 85 at the discretion of our insurance company – This must be arranged prior to arrival. All drivers must have held a full licence for more than 1 year.

UK Licence Holders – Aged 25 and over

Insurance excess of £1,000 applies in the event of any damage to the vehicle unless Collision Damage Waiver* (CDW) is purchased at the commencement of the hire, whereby the excess is reduced to a non-waivable £300.

Non-UK Licence Holders – Aged 25 and over

Insurance excess of £1,500 applies in the event of any damage to the vehicle unless Collision Damage Waiver* (CDW) is purchased at the commencement of the hire, whereby the excess is reduced to a non-waivable £700.

All Hires

Rental Vehicles must remain in Orkney at all times.

All cars are supplied with a full tank of fuel. The hirer is responsible for refilling the tank when returning the car at the end of the hire. If the vehicle is returned without a full tank, the hirer will be charged a £12 refuelling charge plus the cost of fuel required to fill the tank.

Whilst we do not charge for cleaning upon the return of your rental, vehicles deemed to be excessively dirty will be subject to a £50 cleaning fee. This also applies to vehicles that have evidence of having been smoked in.

Free cancellations require a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to the commencement of the hire. Cancellations notified later than this will incur a fee of £75.00.

No shows will be charged full rental price.

Whilst we can provide child seats these are limited and must be installed by the hirer.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

UK Licence Holders – £10 Per Day or £60 Per Week.

Non-UK Licence Holders – £14 Per Day or £84 Per Week.
